On September 6th at approximately 12:50 AM, the Sharptown Fire Department was dispatched to assist the Salisbury Fire Department with a water rescue. Squad 14, Utility 14-1, and Marine 14 responded with a total of nine personnel, including three divers. Upon arrival, crews assisted with dive operations in an effort to locate a person reported to be in the river. At around 2:30 AM, command suspended operations until daylight. Units returned to Sharptown at 2:35 AM.
