Training and Control Burn

On Sunday, November 12, Sharptown Vol. Fire Dept. with the assistance of Eldorado – Brookview Volunteer Fire Company, Mardela Springs Vol. Fire Company and Hebron Volunteer Fire Department conducted a training and control burn of a vacant house. Thanks to everyone that came out and participated.  

Sharptown assist Mardela with Outside Fire

On August 20 at approx 4:30PM Sharptown Fire Department was alerted to assist Mardela with a outside fire on RT50 in Mardela. ET1402 responded and assisted with extinguishing the fire. Crews were on scene for approx 1.5 hours containing the fire.

On July 22, at approx. 2:30pm, Wicomico Central Alerted, Stations 9 Mardela, 5 Hebron, 14 Sharptown, 12 Westside of a house fire on Athol Rd. Crews arrived to find smoke coming through the eves.
