On Monday, September 15th at 8:52 PM, Wicomico Central dispatched the Sharptown Volunteer Fire Department to assist the Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department with a water rescue. Somerset 911 had received a report of a missing person who was possibly in the water.
The Sharptown Dive Team, along with the Salisbury Dive Team, deployed divers to search the area. At approximately 11:15 PM, Command made the decision to suspend dive operations for the night. Sharptown crews returned to the station at 11:30 PM.
