On September 21, at 1344, Wicomico Central alerted Sharptown Fire Department to assist Eldorado with a unknown type fire on Cokesbury Rd. Firefighters arrived to find an outside fire with boats, tires and other debris burning. Units from Eldorado, Hurlock, Sharptown, Seaford, and Federalsburg were on scene.
Just after 5PM, Wicomico Central alerted Sharptown to assist with a water rescue in Cambridge in the Choptank River. Squad 14 with 5 divers onboard along with Utility 14 pulling Marine 14 responded. Crews were on scene for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.
On August 21st at approx. 9:30pm Sharptown was alerted for a accident with injuries at the intersection of Main St and the Bypass. Firefighters and EMS arrived on scene of a 2 vehicle accident. The intersection was shut down during the incident and traffic had to be diverted. Three patients were transported to the hospital.
On August 9th, while Station 71 Blades was standing by for the Carnival, a severe thunder and lighting storm came through the area. Laurel, Sharptown and Delmar Fire Departments were alerted for a house fire on Shockley Rd. Captain T. Bowden arrived on scene with Utility 14 and advised heavy smoke coming from the house. […]
On May 26 and June 2, members of the Sharptown Fire Department participated in some diving exercises.

On May 8th, 2013, Sharptown Fire Department was alerted to Stand by at Station 5 Hebron while they were fighting a 3 story chicken house fire. While en route to station 5, Sharptown was diverted to the scene to assist.
Just before 12:30 AM on May 6, 2013, Sharptown Fire Department was alerted to assist Station 74 Delmar with a structure fire on State St.
