Just before 4pm on Jan 16th, Sharptown was alerted to assist Stations 9, 5, 12 with a chicken house fire on E. Hurleys Neck Rd. Engine Tanker 1402 and Rescue Engine 14 responded. On Sunday, July 9 at approximately 3pm, Sharptown Fire Department was alerted to assist Eldorado Fire Department for a house fire on Allen Rd. Also alerted were Hurlock, Federalsburg, East New Market, Seaford, Preston, Secretary, Vienna and Mardela.
July 8 Assist with RiverFest
On Sat July 8, Sharptown Fire Dept. assisted Seaford Fire Department with the Annual Float in on the Nanticoke River. Boats and Divers were staged at intervals down the river to be able to assist the patrons of the float in on the river.
